WPI For September Down To 5 Year Low

Wholesale price inflation for September 2014 declines to 5 year low of 2.38 percent as against 7.05 percent year on year and 3.74 percent month on month.

The decline in WPI inflation was aided by sharp fall in food inflation which fell to 3.52 percent from 18.68 percent and Fuel & Power Inflation which came down to 1.33 percent from 11.72 percent  for the same month of previous year.
